Mrs. Pearl Alpha McChristian, 88, of Huntsville died Aug. 26, 1988, at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1899, at Japton, Ark., the daughter of Marion Francis "Soag" and Easter Ann Johnson Eubanks. She was a homemaker, a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and the widow of Thomas Maynard McChristian, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1970.

Survivors include one son, Claud McChristian of Japton; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mitchell of Japton, Mrs. Faye Smith of Elkins and Mrs. Lois Mitchell of Huntsville; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Mountain Grove Church of Christ with Tommy Glenn, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Grose Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jim Vaught, Ruben Bowman, Gene Walker, Quintin Bowerman, Jeff Davis and Dwayne Garrett.
