LOUIS A. STOLLBERG

Louis A. Stollberg, 93, of Iola, Wisconsin, died Sunday, November 25, at Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Rev. Daniel Wright will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Stollberg was born April 27, 1891, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Theodore R. and Bertha Kasten Stollberg. He graduated from Two Rivers High School and Stout State Normal School in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Mr. Stollberg taught Industrial Art for several years in Minnesota, Indiana and in Two Rivers. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War I in Dover, England. Mr. Stollberg was a graduate of Marquette University. He received his D.D.S. Degree in 1927. He practiced Dentistry in Two Rivers for over 35 years at several Washington Street locations. He married Marian Cleaves on July 14, 1938, at Chilton, Wisconsin. Mr. Stollberg was a member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, former member of the Elks Club, and former member of the Manitowoc County Dental Society. Mr. Stollberg served as president of the Dental Society in 1941. He retired from practice in 1963 and he and his wife moved to Iola, Wisconsin, in 1964.

Survivors include his wife, Marian; a son and daughter-in-law; a granddaughter; two sisters, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ted, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, until the time of services. Military graveside rites will be conducted jointly by the American Legion Post No. 165 and V.F.W. Post No. 1248.
