Dwight Eugene Jackson, 66, of Chesnee, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Regional Hospice Home.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Spartanburg and a son of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Million Jackson, and the husband of Linda Seay Jackson of the home.
He was a retired employee of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a member of Green Point Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Michael and Cassandra Jackson of Inman; daughters, Tracey Jackson of Spartanburg and Heather Jackson of Chesnee; sister, Gennie Ruth Smith of Boiling Springs; half-sister, Mildred Ruppe of Cowpens; two grandchildren, Issac and Charlotte Jackson.
Visitation was held Monday, May 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Green Point Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dr. David Lancaster, Mr. Michael Jackson and Mrs. Angie Parsons. Interment was in Boiling Springs Memorial Park.
