Patience Miles, daughter of Stephen and Patience (Wheeler) Miles, m. Ebenezer Washburn, son of Joseph and Hannah (Latham) Washburn, on 29 June 1721 in New Milford, Litchfield Co., CT. She was born on 20 Sept. 1704 in Derby, CT, a granddaughter of Samuel and Hannah (Wilmot) Miles, of New Haven, CT, and of Joseph and Patience (Holbrook) Wheeler.

They had 15 children:
