FRAZIER, Bonnie Joann Ledford Age 74, of Oxford, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren at her residence on January 1, 2005. She was born in Milton, Kentucky on May 11, 1930 the daughter of Millard and Agnes (Mize) Smith. She received her education in the Knox County, Kentucky Schools. She married Ballard W. Ledford, Sr. in 1945, he preceded her in death. She married Roy Frazier, Sr. in 1981and he preceded her in death. She was employed in Home Health Care for forty years and a member of the Tylersville Road Church of God. She was devoted to her family. She enjoyed traveling and felt most at peace when she visited the mountains. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. "Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed.." Proverbs 31. She is survived by her children Ronnie Ledford and his wife Cindy of Trenton; Ballard Ledford, Jr. and his wife Angie of Hamilton; Linda Hibbard and her husband Bo of Ross Township; Carol Fowler and her husband Mike of Trenton; Gary Ledford of Hamilton; Wanda Creech and her husband Richard of Oxford; Debbie Maher and her husband Richard of Trenton; John Ledford of Hamilton; James Ledford and his wife Debbie of Hamilton; Mike Ledford and his wife Denise of West Chester; Becky Ledford of Trenton, and Chris Ledford of Hamilton. A stepson Roy Frazier, Jr. of Oxford; and a stepdaughter Freida Kilgore of Grants Pass, Oregon, and a sister Eulene Henson of Detroit, Michigan. Twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, whom died while giving birth to Bonnie. Her grandparents Doc and Margaret Smith raised her. She was also preceded in death by her brother Paul Smith that died while serving in World War II and a brother Euell Smith. She was also preceded in death by lovable pets "Ferdinand" and "Shadow". Funeral services will be held at The Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at D Street on Wednesday January 5, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard S. Salyer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
