Thomas E Corrigan Dies at Daughter's Home Here
Thomas E Corrigan, 84, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Nellie Holmes(sic), 314 S Jefferson. Mr Corrigan was born in Oakland(sic), Maryland. He was a railroad man and was employed as a time keeper for the A T & S F railroad in Iowa when he retired several years ago. Since then he has made his home with Mrs Holmes. He was a member of St John's church. He leaves his daughter and a granddaughter, Shirley Holmes, of Iola; a brother, Joseph and a sister, Catherine of Corriganville, Maryland, and a grandson, Thomas Corrigan, Winfield, Kas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Ft Madison, Ia and will be conducted by Fr Verbeckmoes. Burial will be in Fort Madison.
