Daughter of John Whipple (1596-1669) and his first wife, Susannah (Clarke) Whipple of Ipswich,MA. The identity of Susannah is the subject of a major research article in a 2006 issue of the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Volume 160, pp.17ff. Note: Her mother was not Sarah Hawkins.

Children: (poss.)Simon Stone III, John Stone, Matthew Stone, Nathaniel Stone, Ebenezer Stone, Mary Stone Stearns, Nathaniel Stone, Elizabeth Stone Stearns, David Stone, an infant child, Susanna Stone Goddard, and Jonathan Stone.
