RADFORD — Lillie Frances Cox "Granny" Marshall, age 93, of Radford, affectionately known as "Granny Marshall," passed away Saturday, May 20, 2000 at New River Valley Medical Center.

She was a member of the Radford Church of Christ.

She was the daughter of the late Damon J and Rebecca Duncan Cox.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Griffie Henderson Marshall, her brothers, Thomas and Orville Cox, and a sister, Iva Dickerson.

She is survived by her daughters, Blanche Walker Collier of Radford and Agnes and Cobern Phillips of Indian Valley; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sisters Edna Reed of Salem and Clydie Lester of Galax.

Funeral services will be held Monday, may 22, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Radford Church of Christ with Larry Phillips and C.E. Mannon officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Mulling Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford and at all other times at the home of Blanche Collier, 1013 Custis Street, Radford.
