Her son Tom and his wife are no longer in the household. Tom died on August 8, 1920 at the age of 30 of Bright's disease. It appears that Tom's wife Eva was pregnant when he died. Their youngest child Grace was born in 1921. In 1923 Eva also died, leaving Julia to rear their children.
