Nick Slivka, 70, died Saturday, April 27, 1985 at home in Wellsburg, WV. He was born December 6, 1914 in Braddock, Pa., son of the late George and Anna Slivka. He was retired from Weirton Steel Corporation Coke Plant, and a World War II veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his wife, Docie Zonker Slivka; one son, Jonathan; one halfson, Keith Zonker; one daughter, Bertha Henderson; three brothers, George, Andy and Johnnie; two sisters, Margaret Timcho and Helen Dalessio, and three grandchildren.
Services were held April 30, 1985 at St. Andrew Russian Orthodox Church, Mingo Junction, OH, with interment at St. Andrews Orthodox Cemetery with Father Alexander officiating.
