in the Assembly of Pennsylvania
but after the Revolution in America
he resided chiefly at Mill Hill
in this parish
where he died universally lamented
on the 29th December 1803
In the 73rd Year of his age.
This tomb is erected by his disconsolate widow
as a tribute of respect to his memory
and a token of affection to a most tender husband.
Also of Mrs. Ann Rankin

who departed this life 10th November 1830
Aged 83 years.
