Relatives from here were at Crivitz on Wednesday this week attending the funeral of John Huebner. He was a resident of this community {Brillion} for approximately half a century, prior to his removal from here to Crivitz in 1916.
Removing from here in the spring of that year from the farm, since occupied by Wm. Knoespel, the Huebner family has been settled near Crivitz for the past 20 years, and burial took place there Wednesday afternoon.

The decedent was born at Waukesha on April 7, 1865, coming when about two years old with his parents to a location about one mile north of what is today the village of Forest junction.

In 1888, he was married to Miss Julia Diekvoss, and after a brief occupation of what is today the Ralph Huebner farm, Mr. and Mrs. Huebner lived at Plymouth for a number of years before returning here to the farm vacated 20 years ago.

Survivors are the widow; two sons: Walter and Alfred and six grandchildren, all near Crivitz;
one sister, Mrs. Robert Schultz, Forest Junction, WI;
and five brothers: Reinhold, Charles, Manrow and August of Forest Junction, WI and the Rev. Fred W. Huebner, superintendent of the Ebenezer Orphan Home, Flat Rock, Ohio. Death occurred at the home at Crivitz Sunday afternoon.
