Kathy Lynette Watson, age 56, of Crockett passed from this life Saturday May 9, 2015. Kathy was born August 31, 1958 in Crockett, Texas to parents Norman B. Wooten and Vanneata Jones. She graduated from Crockett High School, and she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Sam Houston State University. Kathy began her teaching career in the 80’s, and she was a very dedicated educator for over 30 years. She tirelessly served her students, her family, and the community because that is what she loved to do. She made a difference in the lives of so many, and we will all smile when we think of her. We will remember her warmth, her energy, and her passion for those she loved.
She is preceded in death by her father, Norman Wooten.
Graveside services for Ms. Kathy Lynette Watson will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the Berea Cemetery.
