Her parents are Jacob Zimbelmann and Anna Marie (Bachmann).

Mrs. Anna Maria Kraft, wife of Jacob Kraft of 524 S. 31st St., died of a heart ailment at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday at a Billings hospital.

Anna Marie (Zimbelmann) Kraft was born in Rohrbach, Beresan, Odessa, Russia (Ukraine) to Gottlieb Zimbelmann and Anna Marie Bachmann. She was married on July 8, 1908, to Jacob Kraft. They came to the United States in 1913, on the ship, "Dominion." The ship went to Philadelphia, and from there the family went via train to North Dakota, where they settled at Bluegrass, North Dakota, where they lived until moving to Billings in 1927.

The couple had 17 children. In 1954, surviving, besides her husband, are eight sons, Herman Kraft, Edward Kraft and Gottlieb Kraft of Billings Rte. 1, Emanuel Kraft of Absarokee, Jake Kraft of Great Falls, Bill Kraft of Rte.2, Albert Kraft of Lake Elmo, Rd., and Johnny Kraft of the family address; six daughters, Mrs. Edwin Anderson of Rte. 4, Mr. Alex Hergenrider of Bridger, Mr. Frank Anderson of Geraldine, Mrs. A.C. Jensen of Big Piney, Wyo., Miss Alice Kraft and Miss Magdalena Kraft of the family address, and grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kraft will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First German Congregational Church, of which she was a member. The rites will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Philip Reich. Smith's Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
