Hester Brooks Holt age 93 of Chesnutt Hill, died at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. In early life she proudly worked on the Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, ran the Brooks Market in Chesnutt Hill for many years and retired from Dollywood after sixteen years. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Franklin Brooks and Coy Holt, Sr., grandson Adam Sisk, parents C.C. and Ruth Jenkins Ball, brothers Addison, Edison, Delozier and Bill Ball, sisters Bernice Ball and Viola Costner. She is survived by daughters Janice Miller, Jimmye Blair and Patti Bonnage; several grandchildren and great grandchildren
