Amelita B. Bacolod, 58, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Bishop Jeffrey L. Hemmingsen of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.

Mrs. Bacolod was born June 21, 1944, in the Philippines, the daughter of Emmanuel H. and Zenaida E. (Enguancho) Bustamante.

She married Jamie C. Bacolod on Feb. 5, 1966, in the Philippines. She had been a Sioux City resident for the past 12 years.

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her husband, Jamie; her children and their spouses, Jemmel and Lorena Bacolod of the Philippines, Ameliza and Conrado Balicusto of New Jersey, Joshelle and Eric Tubino of the Philippines, and Jimson Bacolod and Maria Fidelis of San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers and their wives, Reodante and Dorothy Bustamante and Augusto and Lani Bustamante, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; five sisters and their husbands, Flordeliza and Fermin Gallestre, Elena and Agustin Dy and Solaida and Francisco Marcelo, all of the Philippines, Lovinia and Orlando Ilog of Long Beach, Calif., and Filipina and Jesus Potenciano of San Jose, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Anne Carenina, J. Charles, Jerim, Jelisa, Jemena and Johanne.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
