Emily Fenner of Barrett, Marshall County, Kansas, will take notice that B. G. Richards did on the eighth day of May, A. D. 1886, file his petition in the Court of Common Pleas of Highland County, Ohio, asking judgment against said Emily Mercer for the sum of seventy dollars and thirty-five cents, and interest from April 24th, 1886, on an account for medical attendance and medicines administered, delivered, found and provided her, at her request. That there was issued in said action an order of attachment which was levied upon the undivided one-tenth of the following described real estate as the interest of the said Emily Fenner therein to-wit; Situate in the County of Highland and State of Ohio, and in the township of Jackson, bounded and described as follows:
First Tract
Beginning at two whiteoaks from one root, S.W. corner of Michael Kern's survey No. 1269, thence N. 69 poles to a stone in the center of the creek, thence S. 76 poles to a stone in the original line, thence W. 100 poles to the beginning, containing forty-five acres, more or less.
Second Tract
Situate in the County of Highland, State of Ohio, and in Jackson Township, and bounded as follows: A part of - survey No. 1269, for 200 acres on Brushcreek, and being the same premises which Jeremiah Mercer died seized of; Beginning at two whiteoaks the N.W. corner of original survey No. -, of which this is a part, thence S. 89 degrees E. with the original line 152 poles to a stone, the N.E. corner to said survey, thence with another original line S. 1 degree, W. 96 poles to the center of the creek, elm and sycamore on north bank, thence up the center of the creek following its meandering, to the line of Joseph McCoy and Fenner, thence N. 2 degrees E. 67 poles to the N. E. corner of McCoy's lot, thence N. 89 degrees W. 124 poles to two dogwoods in another line, thence with the original line N. 8 degrees E. 50 poles to the beginning, containing 185 acres, more or less.
Said property appraised, first described tract at $20 per acre and second described tract at $40 per acre.
Said Emily Fenner is notified that she is required to appear and answer said petition on or before this Saturday after the 30th day of June, A.D. 1886.
