Margaret Louise Grable, 75, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away peacefully at EIRMC in Idaho Falls on Friday May 8, 2015.

Margaret was born July 25, 1939 in Needles, California to Dale Eugene Grable and Carrie Elma Hoskins.

She spent most of her life in California and Arizona and later moved to Blackfoot.

Margaret went to Maricopa Technical College in Phoenix, Arizona and became a computer operator. She worked for Motorola and Revlon in Phoenix for many years. Much later she moved to Fremont, California and managed a large apartment complex, which she really enjoyed because it would take her to a city closer to her sister and brother.

Margaret loved being with her family, especially her grandsons. She loved gardening, reading, sitting by a campfire and playing cards on Saturday nights. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and companion. Her heart was more than generous, almost to a fault.

She loved her country and always donated to the Wounded Warriors and other veteran programs.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Ron Brakke, of Blackfoot, ID, daughter, Donna (Buddy) Fowler, of Blackfoot, ID, grandsons, Daniel (Ashley) Curran, of New York City, NY, Michael Curran, of Pocatello, ID, sister, Patty Phillips, of Pioneer, CA, brothers, Dennis (Hang) Grable, of Elk Grove, CA, Donald ‘Gene’ (Ruczia) Grable, of Serbia and many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Dale Grable and Carrie Elma Hoskins.

She will be missed more than any words can describe by all of us. We are thankful that she was our mom, grandma, sister, aunt, friend and companion.
