Born Dec. 26, 1959, in Peoria to Richard and June Brust Ford, he married Christy Brakebill on May 20, 1989, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Byron and Christopher; his parents of Peoria; and one sister, Mrs. John (Cindy) Throop.
He worked at Caterpillar Inc. in Decatur.
Burial of ashes will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
