He is survived by his widow, one son, four step-children, Mrs. Lillie Lovina of Galloway, Nettie Wilson of Galloway, Gertie Cawthorn of Chanute, Kansas, and Fred Funk of Everton, Missouri, also two grandchildren Catherine and Newell Coble, and step grandchildren.
He became a member of the Antioch Church many years ago. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Cecil Daniel on Monday afternoon at Antioch Church with interment in Antioch Cemetery.
