Benjamin is a son of David J and Sarah Catherine Jones Coble. He married Joann Garver March 8 1883, Dade County, MO.

The 1900 South, Dade County, MO Census lists Eli B Coble, 39, and wife Jo Ann, 31, married 17 years with two children, one living, son Solley, 11, born July, 1888. Aunt Elizabeth Steeley, 56, is also with the family.

In 1910 Benjamin Coble, 48, and wife Joann, 39, have son Solomon, 21, and his wife Lina, 19,married one year living with them. Benjamin operates a steam drill for a living, Solomon is a laborer at the lime kiln.

The daughter of Solomon and Angelina Steeley Garver, wife JoAnn died at age 45 from a Pulmonary Hemorrhage.

Benjamin died at age 82 from High Pressure and My--- Stenosis due to old age. WS Coble is the informant on his MO Death Certificate.

The Greenfield Vedette, May 28, 1942 -- Benjamin E Coble, son of David and Catherine Coble was born in Dade County, May 5, 1860, passed away at this home in Everton May 24, 1942, at the age of 82 years and 19 days.
He was married to Joann Garver. To this union two sons were born, Sollie of Everton and another who passed away in infancy. Mrs. Coble passed away in the year 1913.
He was later married to Ticie Ann Funk. He is survived by his widow, one son, four step-children, Mrs. Lillie Lovina of Galloway, Nettie Wilson of Galloway, Gertie Cawthorn of Chanute, Kansas, and Fred Funk of Everton, Missouri, also two grandchildren Catherine and Newell Coble, and step grandchildren.
He became a member of the Antioch Church many years ago. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Cecil Daniel on Monday afternoon at Antioch Church with interment in Antioch Cemetery.
