Leo E. Bragg, 68, Dies In Illinois
---Leo E. Bragg, 68, of Peoria, Ill., formerly of LaPlata, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at 3:40 at his home.
---Born in LaPlata on Sept. 10, 1906, he was the son of Leonard Oren and Dea Wright Bragg. On Sept. 5, 1930 in Kirksville, he married Eileen Taylor who survives. Also surviving are one son, Gary O. Bragg of Peoria, Ill.; two grandchildren; his mother of LaPlata; three sisters, Mrs. Claib (Ruth) Atterberry of LaPlata, Mrs. George (Mable) Davis of Moberly and Mrs. Elliott (Lois) Dampf of Jefferson City; one niece and one nephew.
---He was preceded in death by his father in 1968.
---Mr. Bragg was reared in the Illinois Bend community and attended Northeast Missouri State University. He had lived several places before moving to Peoria in 1947. He was an officer with Internal Revenue with the Alcohol, Tobacco and Fire Arms Bureau. Since 1941 he had been with Government Service.
---Mr. Bragg was a member of the Illinois Valley Antique Auto Club at Peoria.
---After one o'clock Wednesday afternoon the body will be at the Pollock Funeral Home in LaPlata where funeral services will be held at three o'clock. the Rev. Stanley East, Jr., pastor of the LaPlata Christian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the LaPlata cemetery.
