John W. Hunt, 81, passed away January 17, 1999, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 21, 1917, in Eckert, Colorado, to Luis M. and Maude Dickerson Hunt. He was married to Bernice Walters for 51 years. Member of the Catholic faith, was a carpenter, and worked for Staufer Chemical Company.
Survived by: wife Bernice and niece Virginia Golding, both of Murray; sisters: Gladys Bowerman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Merle Templeton and Martha Sapp, both of Grand Junction, Colorado; Helen Jacobson of Bountiful; Erma Lemon of Alaska; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by stepson Jimmy Stewart and brother Everett Hunt.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 20, 1999, at 9 a.m, at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane. Friends may call Tuesday 6-7:30 p.m. and vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
