Dora Jane Grismore, 83 of Crossville, passed away May 3, 2015.
She was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Bridgeport, IN, the daughter of Richard and Dona Tudor Paris. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She was a gifted seamstress who enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She also loved working with crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Grismore of Crossville; sons, Bruce Grismore of San Diego, CA, and Gary Grismore and his wife, Beth, of Sevierville, TN; daughter, Elaine Sparks and her husband, Terry, of Titusville, FL; brother, Dallas Paris and his wife, Carol, of Zionsville, IN; sister, Dorothy Ward of Jonesville, VA; grandchildren, Carly Grismore, Paul Sparks and Elizabeth Sparks; and great-grandchildren, Dakota and Wyatt Sparks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Peters.
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
