Anita June Ijames, 76, died May 15, 2006, at Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, MO. She was born July 17, 1929, in Williamsville, MO., daughter of the late David Newton and Lena (Burkett) Duckett. She was united in Marriage to Charles Leon Ijames Jan. 9, 1946, and he survives, residing in Sullivan. Mrs. Ijames was a hospital secretary. She attended the Christian Church in St. Clair. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Donna Eubanks, Ann Zoll, both of Dexter, Anita (Gerald) Mayo, Mt. Veron, IL., Cathy (Randy) Bremer, Bourbon; one sister, Diane (Rudy) Fuchs, Williamsville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Lynn Ijames, four brothers, Van, Russell, Rowland and Don Duckett, one sister, Ina Marie Stevens. The funeral was held May 18 at United Methodist Church, Williamsville, with Rev. Richard Taylor officiating. Pallbearers were Ryan and Austin Ijames, Marcus Bremer, Justin Bouse, Landall Zoll and Cory Townsend. Burial was in Holiday Cemetery, Williamsville. Arrangements were under the direction of Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville.
