Peggy Marie Cole, age 81, passed away May 5, 2015 at Northside Health Care. She was a native of Davidson County and lived in Murfreesboro since 1970. Peggy retired from Samsonite and is of the Baptist faith.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Neely Broiles Norton; husband, J.H. Cole; infant son, Edward A. Waffird; daughter, Vicky Lynn Waffird; brothers, B.R. Norton, Cliff Norton; and sisters, May Norton and Thelma Malcom. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Mike) Gibbs of Murfreesboro, Tina (Willie) Barrett of Rockvale, Dawn (Jason) Beckham of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, May 8, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
