Dorothy Alliene Bowman Robinson, 71, loving mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
She was of the Baptist Faith and a former employee of Kmart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vollie and Leatha Killen Bowman.
Surviving are her daughter, Chrystal Gilley and husband Mark of Wise; son, Dwayne McKinley Robinson and fiancé Saprina Garcia of Norton; two grandchildren, William Chris Darnell and wife Adara and Tenisa LeAnn Holbrook and husband Zac; sister, Dianna Mullins and husband Roy of Wise; her loving companion, Beauty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dorothy Robinson will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Lars Dorton officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA.
