Russell C. Pulst, 87, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his Chillicothe home.
Russell was born on Jan. 1, 1928, in Starkweather, N.D., the son of William and Edna B. (Paul) Pulst.
He served in the U.S. Navy, post World War II.
Russell graduated from the University of North Dakota, with a bachelor's degree in engineering.
He married Norma Largent on Oct. 25, 1959, in East Peoria, Ill.
Russell retired as a supervising engineer with Caterpillar Tractor Company.
Russell is survived by his wife, Norma; a son, Brian (Becky) Pulst; and four brothers, Roger (Pat) Pulst, Wesley (Lila) Pulst, Clifford (Linda) Pulst, and Paul (Karlyn) Pulst.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David and William; one sister; and four brothers.
Burial will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Edelstein, with military rites.
