John "Jack" Riggs Roberts was born in Provo, Utah on 29 Oct 1865 to pioneer parents, Benjamin Morgan Roberts and Mary Ann "Polly" Bullock Roberts.
On March 4th, 1893 he married Sarah Ann "Pauline" Jones in Salt Lake City, SLC, Utah. They had a daughter, Erato Jones Roberts, born in Price, Carbon, Utah on 26 Nov 1893. Jack farmed in the Farnum area with his brother Isaac Bullock Roberts. Sarah Ann died there 21 Sept 1896. Records indicate that an unnamed baby girl was born that same day but did not survive. His little daughter Erato passed away 12 Dec 1901 at the age of eight. She and her mother are buried in Wellington.
"Jack" married May Catherine Jones (sister of Sarah Ann) on 24 Aug 1900 in Price, Carbon, Utah. Records indicate they had a number of children together, (including two that died unnamed in infancy.) John died 25 April 1930 in Tabiona, Utah having spent the last 18 and a half years of his life there. John & May Roberts are both buried in Tabiona, as are several of their children (indicated by ■) and extended family members.
