Gerrit De Geus formerly of Pella but more recently cook at the U. S. Veterans Hospital at Knoxville, was found dead in his bed Saturday morning, September 4th. He had been in his usual health the day before. The body was brought to Pella and funeral services were held at the home of his father, C. De Geus Sr., 829 Franklin Street at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, being conducted by Rev. B. Mulder. Interment was made at the First Re formed cemetery. Deceased was separated from his family, who live in Pella. He is survived by four children, who live with the mother, his father, and several brothers and sisters.
