Patricia Marie (Wilson) Adams, age 65 of Manchester, TN, formerly of Naperville, IL, passed away May 21, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where she was airlifted as a result of a car accident on May 19, 2006.

Pat was born January 16, 1941 in Aurora, IL, to Lester and Helen (Sabo) Wilson. She attended Oswego High School, Thorton College and Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL, where she attained her R.N. After high school Pat was a corpsman in the Navy at Bethesda, Maryland.

Pat married Robert Lee Adams on December 31, 1979 in Naperville, IL. She worked as a nurse at Elgin State Hospital. Pat was a member of St. Peter and Paul church until she moved to Manchester, TN, and joined St. Marks Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Pat enjoyed traveling with her husband, dining out, visiting with family and friends and collecting Precious Moment figurines.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Lester Earl Wilson in 1965; a brother, Alan, in 1967; a brother-in-law, Justin Larsen; and a nephew, Dale Larsen.

A memorial service was held at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Manchester, TN, where a pavilion is being built and dedicated to the memory of Pat and Bob Adams.

A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at St. Anne's Catholic Church for Pat and her husband, Bob, with Father Daniel Stempora officiating. Burial was on June 16, 2006 at the Nashville National Veterans Cemetery in Madison, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Marks Pavilion Fund in memory of Pat and Bob Adams. To: St. Marks Catholic Church, 2941 McMinnville Highway, Manchester, TN 37355 (earmarked Pavilion Fund ).
