Christine Yorko Dmochowsky, age 80, of Greensboro, Pa., died unexpectedly Saturday, November 5, 2005, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.

Born August 13, 1925, in Moffitt-Sterling, Greene County, Pa., she was the daughter of Samuel and Victoria (Adamoczyk) Yorko.

She was a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Yorko.

Her husband of 58 years, Edward Dmochowsky, whom she married on February 8, 1947, survives, along with two daughters, Michaelene Paugh of Oviedo, Florida, and Valerie Wysocki of Irwin, Pa., three grandchildren, and two sisters, Helen Koast of Dilliner, Pa., and Mary Richards of Masontown, Pa.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 8, until 9:15 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Greensboro, with the Rev. Father Lawrence V. Holpp as Celebrant.

Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Parish Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home today at 8:30 p.m.
