Three known children were born to this couple.

Eula P., born April 22., 1887, married Geo. Babcock; their children Bernard L., Harold, and George. They divorced. Eula married Fred Shirtz. Their children were Fred, Doris, and Clarice. Eula died in Ohio Dec. 7, 1967.

Edna, born July 5, 1891. Married John David Westbury. They had at least five sons. Edna died May 8, 1965 in Gary, Indiana.

Genevieve, born Feb. 9, 1898. Married Elmer Hooten. Their children were Edward, Albert, Viola, Gertrude, and Kenneth. They divorced and she later married Earl Harrison. They had at least two children. Genevieve died Oct. 2, 1965 in Tecumseh, Michigan.

He was the son of Thomas and Mary Pawson, a farmer, and a lifelong resident of Franklin. I will transfer this memorial and his wife's to a closer family member. James was my first cousin, 4 times removed.
