Catherine "Kate" Blanche Agar was born Nov. 10, 1875 at Glen Union, PA to Alex Agar and Jane Hearon.

Death certificate listed divorced at the time of death.

Catherine died on April 3, 1914 at Castanea, PA. She was 38 years old. Catherine was buried at the Highland Cemetery on April 6th. The informant on her death certificate was Sarah Agar of Lock Haven.

Catherine is buried at LOT F-77 and there is no headstone noted for there.

Agar – Miss Kate Agar, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Agar, died Friday evening at her home on South Washington street, of a complication of diseases, aged 37 years.
Deceased had been in ill health for the past year and had been bedfast for the past three months. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Alex, Erie; John, Lima, Ohio; David, Walter, and Miss Sadie, of this city.
Funeral services were conducted from the East Main street M. E. church Monday afternoon and interment made in Highland cemetery.
