Jane Herron or Hearon was born April 4, 1842 in Scotland to Mr Hearon and Vera Kiutura?, possibly as noted on her death certificate. Her maiden name is spelled differently on her and all her children's death certificates.

Sarah Garret Herron Martin findagrave no. 90426406, had a daughter Jane, born same time and same place, with her in 1850.

1850 Colebrook, Clinton, PA, Sarah Herron 34, born abt 1816 Scotland, a widow, Margaret 14, Mary 12, JANE 9, all born SCOTLAND, David 6, and James 4, both born PA, all children Herron's.
If that was her family, a brother James Herron's death certificate listed parents as James/John Herron and Sarah Garret.

Jane died on Jan. 9, 1908 at Lock Haven, PA of Apoplexy. She was 66 years, 8 months,and 4 days old, widowed, and lived at the alley between Clinton & Walnut Sts. Jane was buried at Highland cemetery on Jan,. 11th. The informant on her death certificate was Katie Agar of Lock Haven, PA.

Jane may be buried in one of the following sections at Highland Cemetery with no headstone noted: D-72 or F-77.

Died of Paralysis.
Mrs. Jane Agar, widow of the last Alex. Agar, who resides in the rear of Clinton street, near Jay street, was stricken with paralysis yesterday afternoon, and died this morning at 1:30 o'clock. Mrs. Agar became unconscious when stricken and remained in that condition until she breathed her last. She was 63 years, 8 months and 4 days, and is survived by four sons and two daughter, John, Lima, O., Alex, Walter and David, this city; Mrs. Kate Walsh and Sarah, at home.
Funeral announcement will be made tomorrow.

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Agar and daughter, Eleanor of Lima, O., have arrived in this city Thursday, having been summoned here by the death of Mr. Agar's mother.

Mrs. Jane Agar, a widow, residing on East Clinton street, near Jay, died at her home Thursday morning of paralysis, aged about 66 years. Deceased is survived by five children. The time of the funeral will be announced later.

The funeral of Mrs. John (Jane) Agar will take place Saturday afternoon. The friends will meet at the house at 1:30 o'clock, where services will be conducted by Rev. C. Pierie Warner. Interment will be made in Highland cemetery. Deceased was member of the Harrison burial association.
