John Lindsay Phillips, aged 59 years, died at his home in Perry Township on Thursday night, March 10, 1938, at 9 o'clock as the result of a heart attack.

Th deceased was a son of F. M. and Martha Brock Phillips, deceased, and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Flora Dulaney Phillips; two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Flesher and Mrs. Mildred Morris, both of Washington, D. C.; three sons, Ralph Phillips, of Fairmont, W. Va.; Francis and Charles Phillips, both at home. Six grandchildren survive along with a brother, William Phillips, of Spraggs; a sister, Mrs. Harry Dulaney, of Mt. Morris; two half-brothers, Charles and James Phillips, both of Washington; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Rose Baysinger, Mrs. Margaret Ankrom, and Mrs. Lottie Ankrom, all of Waynesburg.
