Mr. W.L. Patten, age 47 years, died yesterday at the home of his brother Bert Patten on North Harrison street. Mr. Patten returned from Florida and enroute home was taken ill and compelled to remain for serveral days in Kansas City hospital. His father makes his home in this city also. A sister Mrs. Harry Perdue is expected today from Earlton, Kansas. Funeral arrangemnts have not been completed. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of a large number of friends in this vicinity.
