Mr Toffey died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 4, at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks. Mr Toffey was born in Waterbury, December 5, 1941, son of Arthur J. and Helen (LaCondrata) Toffey Sr of Watertown. He lived in Watertown before moving to Sherman Oaks 17 years ago. He was a graduate of Waterbury State Technical College and also had a bachelor's degree in engineering. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and owned and operated Sierra Tech in North Hollywood. He was a member of the Los Angeles Billfish Club and the Mountaingate Country Club.
Besides his parents, he leaves one daughter, Kimberly Ann Toffey of Waterbury; three brothers, Clayton Toffey of Bonita Springs, Fla., Richard Toffey and Harold Toffey, both of Watertown; five sisters, Barbara Hurbon, Marie Maynard, and Carol Sprano, all of Watertown, Elena Banks of Bethlehem, and Beverly Shugrue of Plymouth.
