Edna Adams


Edna A. Adams, 80, of 710 South 17th Street, Centerville, died Thursday, May 5, 1977, in St. Joseph Hospital, Centerville.

Born April 21, 1897 in Centerville, she was the daughter of Edward P. and Addie Belle Efaw Mackey. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was married to William Glen Adams February 15, 1917, in Centerville, and he survives. Also surviving are five children, Lorena Gesualdo, William R. Adams and Mary Jane Adams, all of Centerville; Edward Adams, St. Charles, Mo.; and Dorothy Munden, Davenport; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence Angst, Havana, Ill.; and Blanche Gander, Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Adams funeral

Graveside services for Edna A. Adams will be Monday afternoon at Oakland Cemetery, with the Rev. George Gibson officiating. The family will leave Johnson Funeral Home for the cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Adams, of 710 South 17th Street, Centerville, died Thursday, May 5, 1977, in St. Joseph Hospital, at the age of 80.
