Homer Duncan Cohran, 77, of Danielsville, was born in Paulding County on July 5, 1923. He was a son of the late James Chester and Lena Harper Cohran. Mr. Cohran was a retired Railroad L & N switch foreman and attended Freedom Fellowship Church in Austell. He was a U.S. Navy veteran,having served during World War II, and was a member of the American Legion Post #264 in Mableton.
Mr. Cohran is survived by his wife, Adeline Amanda Sartain Cohran, Danielsville; one son, Henry Chester "Chip" Cohran, Dallas; one daughter, Debra Lena Hernandez, Mableton; two brothers, George Cohran, Paulding County, and Hugh Cohran, Lithia Springs; two sisters, Allie Rice, Lithia Springs, and Betty Head, Douglasville; and six grandchildren.
