Marline Diana Deckard, Kirbyville, daughter of Everett Raymond Bennett and Freda Marie Hyder Bennett, was born December 14, 1950, in Niangua, and passed away at 11:45 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2006, in her sister's home in Springfield at the age of 55 years, five months, and 25 days.
Marline married Arthur Lee Deckard on July 6, 1968, in Marshfield. She and Arthur moved to Kansas for one year before moving to Branson in 1970. They moved to Kirbyville in 1983 and stayed there until Arthur passed away in July 2005.
Marline was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Michael Lee and Angela Deckard, Anderson, Mo., and Brian Wayne and Andrea Deckard, Nixa, Mo.; three grandchildren, Cody Deckard, Amanda Deckard, and Calvin Deckard; two brothers and their wives, Jerry Leroy and Margrette Bennett, Gainesville, Texas, and Ronald Ray and Theresa Bennett, Marshfield; and two sisters, Charline Elizabeth Young, Marshfield, and Geraldine Maxine Bennett, Springfield; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 12, 2006, in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice.
