Funeral services for Donna Lea Hollis Lester, 85, of Groveton, Texas will be held at Oaklawn Baptist Church with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating. Interment will be in the Bennett Cemetery.

Mrs. Lester was born in the Sylvester Community of Trinity County, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2015 in Fort Worth. Donna was a graduate of Groveton High School the Class of 1948 and went on to attend college at Sam Houston State University. She grew up going to church at Oaklawn Baptist Church and later became a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband, Billy Joe Lester; parents, Iva (Ivy) Etta Tullos Hollis and Odell Hollis; brothers, Jack Hollis and Nelson Hollis.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Renee Lester Munroe and husband, Thomas (Chip) Munroe, III and Kathy Sue Lester Huffman and husband, Russell Craig Huffman; grandchildren, Thomas (Will) Munroe, IV, Richard (Brick) Alexander Munroe, Knealy Renee Huffman, Ethan Hollis Huffman and wife, Kristi Hampton Huffman; great grandchild, Eisley Elizabeth-Rose Munroe and numerous other relatives and friends.
