Mrs. Rua Gifford Peret, 91, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 20, in Columbia, Mo., where she had resided the past several years. She was a native of Oregon.

Her husband, john Peret, preceded her in death.

she is survived by three daughters, Ruhamah McKinsey of the home, in Columbia, Helen McGuire, Denver, Colo., and Rosemary Johnston, Boston, Mass.; two sons, Cortland Peret, Falls Church, Va., and Warren Peret, Houston, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Pruett, St. Joseph; two brothers, Winfield Gifford, Denver, Colo., and Keith Gifford, Forest City; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the First Presbyterian Church in Oregon with L.A. Warren and Richard Francis officiating.
Interment will be in the Oregon Cemetery.
