Charles Wichmann, a retired grocer, died Monday of pneumonia, at his home, 55 South Eighth street. He was born in 1846 in Germany and had lived in New York fifty-five years, and was a member of Emmanuel German Lutheran Church and several German societies. His widow, Maria Witt, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Antonius; two sons, Herman and August, and six grandchidren survive.
