Victoria—Georgia Lee Stevenson Johnston, 67, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. She was born in Kermit on July 11, 1947 to the late George Marshall and Margaret Lee Ramey Stevenson. Georgia was a homemaker and member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She was a cook for Coleto Creek Café and Raisin Windmill.
Survivors include son, Ronald Gene “Catfish” Johnston (Jeanette) of Victoria; daughter; Regina Ann Johnston (Thomas A. Latta) of Victoria; sister, Evelyn Lockwood of Kermit; grandchildren, Charity Nicole Bragg (Merritt), Brittany Langridge and Alicia Johnston, all of Victoria; great-grandchildren, Katie Grace and Lilllian Rose Langridge.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie H. Johnston.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation services to be held at Grace Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Bartlett officiating. Burial will be at Ferguson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brandes, Eric Timberlake, Thomas Latta, Brad Wright, Shawn Crabtree, Ricky Appelt, Dale “Hacksaw” Mefford and Daniel Volek. Honorary pallbearers are Herman Zapalac, Larry Lockwood, Tim Thomas, Carlos Tijerina and Donnie “Duck” Migl.
