Rachel Paige Wahl

SAN FRANCISCO – Rachel Wahl died Monday, October 16, 2006, she was 32 years old. She attended The York School. After completing her BA Degree in Psychological Services at the University of San Francisco, she continued her studies at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont. There she achieved a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with emphasis on Marital and Family Therapy, as well as a Certificate in Chemical Dependency. She was awarded for her thesis: Self-Injury and Substance Abuse. Proceeding with an internship as counselor for the clinically dependent population at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, she continued to work with the most indigent of San Francisco's people in need. Her ashes will be scattered to the winds along the southern coast of Monterey County, a place she truly loved.
