Mrs. Wenzel Meitner, age 66, died at her home in Bethel Sunday, April 14, of a heart attack. Funeral services will be conducted from the Pittsville funeral home Tuesday, April 17, at 2 p.m., with Rev. F. J. Lowenbergh of Wisconsin Rapids in charge. Burial will be made in the Pittsville cemetery.
Mrs. Meitner, nee Gertrude Retke, was born in Milwaukee, September 30, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Retke, and came to Pittsville in I892. On December 26, 1900, she married Wenzel Meitner and shortly afterward the couple removed to Bethel. Mrs. Meitner was the mother of three children, two of whom with her husband and two grandchildren, survive. One son, Carl Meitner, lives in Chicago and a daughter, Mrs. Carl Heuer lives in Pittsville. The two grandchildren are Clarence and Rosemary Heuer.

Mrs. Anna Meitner of Bethel, whose funeral will be held tomorrow from the Pittsville funeral home, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Repke, late of Milwaukee. Her grandchildren are Clarence and Rosemary Meitner of Chicago, and are not the children of Mrs. Carl Heuer of Pittsville, as was stated in yesterday's announcement of Mrs. Meitner's death.
