Funeral services for Charley C. Meissner were held May 18, 1961 from the Zion Lutheran church. Casket bearers were Grover Abel, Edgar Aune, Rudolph Guenther, Fred Hagedorn, Arthur Nelson and Alvin Stranberg. Interment was in the Kinkead cemetery.
Charley C. Meissner was born in Millerville township March 4, 1895, the son of Frederick and Carolina Meissner. He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran church and attended public school in Millerville township. In 1943 he moved to Alexandria township where he has resided these past 18 years.
Mr. Meissner passed away May 15, at the age of 66 years, 2 months an 11 days. Surviving are three sisters, Miss Emelia Meissner of Salem, Oregon, Mrs. William Zastrow, Osakis and Miss Elfa Meissner, Alexandria, and one brother, Frank, of Alexandria.
