Marguerite Bratcher Bell, 90, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born July 3, 1924 in Owensboro, to the late Roy and Irene Unser Bratcher. Marguerite was a life long member of Zion United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for over 45 years. She was retired as a bookkeeper after many years of service with Thompson Building Supply Company. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, craftwork, and league bowling for many years. She also was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Marion Sue “Susie” Bell Basham, a sister, Jean Bratcher, and five brothers, George, Roy, Martin, Charlie, and Weldon Bratcher.

Marguerite is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas B. Bell, a daughter, Carol Wright of Owensboro, a son, Albert B. Bell and wife Lisa of Lewisburg, TN, 4 grandchildren, Louis (Vicki) Richardson of LaGrange, Robert Basham of Owensboro, Adrienne Bell (Steven) Parks of Goodletsville, TN, and Deanna Bell of Lexington, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
