She married Rodney Harrington on March 15, 1941 and together they raised four children. Marianne was an avid fisherwoman; she was her dad's fishing partner and they fished for salmon in the Lewis and Cowlitz Rivers. Marianne passed down the love of the sport to her own children. Working in her greenhouse gave her great joy and her garden was always full of flowers. She will be remembered for her green thumb and her quick wit.
Marianne will be missed by sons Ken and Keith, daughter Konnie, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rodney, son Karol, brothers Werner and Gary Schubothe, and her parents.
