Born in Honesdale, he was the son of the late George L. and Rosemary Coyne Bresset. He was a graduate of the University of Scranton with a BS in Business Administration.
He was the owner of Bresset Realty in Mount Pocono and was proud to follow the family tradition of serving the area as a realtor.
Through well taught values in Integrity and Honesty by his Mother and Father, and from his first commercial sale in 1977, Mr. Bresset has demonstrated his expertise in the business community.
On his course through the business world, he owned and operated the Hotel Wayne, been manager of the Fife and Drum Motor Inn, Manager of Allen Motor Inn, owner/manager of the Capitol Theatre, owner of Western Auto, Capitol Paint and Hardware, Wayne Appliance and TV, and a former owner of 34 apartments and numerous other Commercial Properties.
Some of his services to the community include teaching Parochial School for one year and being a Bail Bondsman for Wayne and Pike Counties, Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his brothers Michael and Attorney Stephen Bresset, both of Honesdale; his sister Mary Lou Thomas of Reeders, PA; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Frederick L. Bresset
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23rd at St. John the Evangelist Church, Honesdale at 11 am.
Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may visit Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale on Thursday from 9 to 10: 30.
